LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Gruber has been recorded numerous times admitting that the ACA was written and designed to mislead the public, and that this was the only way it passed, an act that caused the president to distance himself and his law from Gruber.

Stop throwing pro-life donations away. Support a pro-life movement that's proven to work!

This time, Gruber has been recorded suggesting that legalizing and encouraging abortion would be incredibly beneficial to society and the world.

Gruber and two other authors wrote a paper in 1997, which suggested that those children born after the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion in 1973, saw remarkably improved lives.

"The average living circumstances of cohorts of children immediately after abortion became legalized improved substantially relative to the preceding cohorts, and relative to places where the legal status of abortion was not changing," their paper said.

Gruber compared five states where abortion was legal prior to the case agaisnt five that had not.

"Our results suggest that the marginal children who were not born as a result of abortion legalization would have systematically been born into less favorable circumstances if the pregnancies had not been terminated," they continued.

Gruber continued to argue that the life of a child should be measured to costs against the government, and that the data states that "the legalization of abortion saved the government over $14 billion in welfare expenditures through 1994."

Gruber also co-authored a 2009 paper with a similar opinion.

In this paper, Gruber argued that increases in abortion were responsible for the drop in crime in the 1990s.

While this opinion is confirmed to be based on faulty examinations of evidence and historical data, Gruber has established a firm foundation in parts of academia that continues to perpetuate the myth that abortion is a social good.

The foundation has been allowed to grow because those who wish to allow abortion, discourage data that does not agree with their views, or outright refuse to hear it.
